Sourdough 101
Join Lou and crew in learning the basics of caring for a sourdough starter and using it to make leavened and unleavened breads.
Attendees will leave with a small container of starter, a sense of community, a lifelong relationship with a baker, starter care instructions, two sourdough recipes, and two breads.
Sourdough 101 events are limited to 10 attendees and the cost is on a pay what you can scale of $10 - $25. We encourage you to pay a lower amount if the cost is prohibitive to you, and encourage you to pay a higher amount if you are able to.
No one will be turned away for non-payment, please reach out to us at lous.loafs.or@gmail.com if you are unable to pay even the lowest amount.
Our goal of this series is to connect with our community and teach an invaluable skill. We encourage attendees to share the information learned here, and we encourage you to do so at low or no-cost.
The cost of this event covers the cost of supplies and a minimal amount for Lou’s time.
